Custom printed hi vis vests put your company's logo on the safety gear your team wears every day. Construction and trade crews, contractors, traffic and rail workers, event staff, marshals and volunteers order them in bulk. The range runs from simple day vests to fleece, softshell and waterproof hi vis safety vests.

Every quote comes with a free digital mockup of your logo on the vest. Browse the range below, then request a quote.

Why custom printed hi vis vests work for crews and sites

A custom safety vest gives the wearer high visibility on the job and shows which company or team they belong to.

  • Your crew stands out from other trades on shared construction sites and job sites
  • Contractors, subcontractors and employees wear one consistent design under your brand, which gives the whole crew a professional look
  • Staff, marshals and volunteers are easy to pick out at events
  • A vest goes over existing workwear, so it adds your brand without replacing the uniform
  • A back print or chest logo stays visible and readable from a distance across the workplace

They sit in our wider clothing and workwear range alongside hi vis jackets, hi vis polo shirts and hi vis pants, so the whole crew can match.

Hi vis safety vest styles in the range

The right custom high vis vest depends on the site, the hours worked, the weather and your compliance requirements. Here's how the high vis vests in the range compare.

Day and day/night safety vests

The Hi-Vis X Back Safety Vest with Tail has a Velcro front, X back reflective tape and an extended tail, and is rated to Australian/New Zealand Standard (AS/NZS) 4602.1:2011 Class D/N. Class D means day use. Class D/N means day and night use, including low light conditions. The Unisex Hi Vis Basic Vest has a quick release front, and the Unisex Hi Vis Zip Vest adds an ID chest pocket in orange, yellow or pink. Neither carries a rated class.

Rail vests

The Unisex Hi Vis NSW Rail Vest is NSW Rail compliant: orange, with breakaway tape at the shoulders and hips, mesh shoulder panels and a radio loop. The Biomotion VIC Rail Reversible Safety Vest is VIC Rail compliant and rated Day/Night AS/NZS 4602.1:2011. Confirm the network's current requirements with your rail contractor.

Fleece, softshell and waterproof hi vis vests

For crews who wear the safety vest as an outer layer all shift, there's the two tone polar fleecy vest (300 grams per square metre (GSM) fleece, Class D), the hooded puffer vest (Class D/N, ultraviolet protection factor (UPF) 50+) or the softshell vest with bonded fleece backing. The lightweight and unisex waterproof vests are reversible and seam sealed. The unisex version has a 3,000mm waterproof rating and zips into the ZJ220 4 in 1 jacket.

How logo printing and embroidery work on hi vis vests

Your logo goes on the fluoro fabric between the reflective tape, usually on the left chest and across the upper back, so the tape stays clear. Three decoration options are available:

  • Embroidery up to 10,000 stitches, offered on every hi vis vest and suited to a durable chest logo
  • 1 colour screen printing in 1 or 2 positions, for a bold single colour back print
  • Full colour transfer print in small (100 x 100mm), medium (148 x 210mm) or large (210 x 197mm), for multi-colour logos

The basic, NSW rail, softshell and lightweight waterproof vests are embroidery only. A large back print helps crew and event identification, and an embroidered chest logo gives a uniform look. Your free mockup shows the position and size before you approve.

Custom hi vis vest FAQs

Minimum order quantities start from as little as 10 units, though the exact number varies by decoration method. Embroidery starts at 10 units, and 1 colour screen print or full colour transfer print starts at 25. Need fewer than that? Ask the team – we can sometimes accommodate smaller runs too. Tell us which vest and decoration you want and we'll confirm the minimum before you order.

Four vests are rated to AS/NZS 4602.1:2011: the X Back Safety Vest with Tail (Class D/N), the hooded puffer vest (Class D/N), the two tone polar fleecy vest (Class D) and the Biomotion VIC Rail vest (Day/Night). Check each rating against your site's safety standards.

Standard production runs 10 to 15 business days, depending on the decoration method. Hi vis vests aren't available through our Express Range. Delivery timing is confirmed when you order, so tell us your date and we'll confirm what's achievable.

Yes. Click Request Sample on the vest you want, or ask when you request a quote, and we'll confirm the sample details with you.

Sizes run from XXS to 7XL depending on the vest, with S/M and L/XL fittings on the X back vest. Order a spread of sizes for a mixed crew of workers.

The file you need depends on the decoration method. 1 colour screen print gives the cleanest result from vector artwork in EPS, AI, SVG or PDF. Embroidery and full colour transfer print also prefer vector, but a high resolution JPG or PNG works too. If you don't have a vector file, send what you have and we'll check it. Our Vector File Guide explains how to prepare artwork for logo printing.
